Amazing new Playground Equipment is opened at Harris Primary Academy Kenley
The children at Harris Primary Academy Kenley have been celebrating this week with the unveiling of the new £14,000 playground equipment for use by Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
Executive Principal, Matt Britt, said "The children are really excited about the opportunities for fun and challenging play this presents and it has really lifted the quality of break and lunchtime activities."
The PTA and academy worked together to fund the equipment and it reflects the backing and support the PTA and parent body provide for the academy.
Mr Bull, premises manager at Harris Primary Academy Kenley, has also committed to repairing and updating the existing equipment to ensure it provides more challenge and looks as good as the new. He is pictured installing a new "bridge". The children are really excited to see what he has managed to achieve when this equipment is opened later this term.
Pictures show two of our pupils playing on the new equipment. The children have been taught about safe access to the equipment and how to use it responsibly.
