Attention Year 6 parents! Just for your information, this letter may not have gone home to all children today.

✏️ 4Hawking’s most improved in handwriting this half term. 🌟 Well done! They have both worked really hard on their grips and flicks.

👨🏾‍🎨👩🏼‍🎨4Hawking’s printing inspired by both Portuguese Azulejos and Islamic Art! 🧑🏾‍🎨👨🏼‍🎨The children have improved their printing skills so much since we started this unit earlier this half term 🌟

The Easter Bunny came to visit HPAK today. The cheeky bunny had hidden eggs with letters on around the school grounds for the children to find & unscramble to make a word or Easter phrase. The reward, chocolate prizes for all! Thanks Easter Bunny🐰

Year 3 enjoyed creating travel brochures all about London. The 'Hello London' English task was a great success.

Today, Y6 concluded their heart and circulatory system topic with a hands-on investigation of the heart. Using lambs' hearts, they identified and labelled the different parts before looking at the atriums and ventricles.

Year 4 have begun their Easter topic in RE by looking at the symbols relating to Easter and their meanings. 🐣

In French 🇫🇷,Year 6 have created a recipe for their pizza. They will make them next week. Bravo!

This morning, year 3 have looked at equivalent fractions in Maths and have identified the features of travel brochures. Collaboration skills in action!!

Congratulations to Hermione Y1 and Michaela Y3 who were “highly commended” for their entries. Well done to all the children who entered the competition, we are very proud of your efforts.
